What is the difference between a RP character and PvP charecter, when I am creating my charecter? Which is more fun to play as?

RP is (Role Playing) character. This means that you will start out at level 1 and play your character through a storyline. Building up your character as you go.

PvP (Player Vs. Player) character you will start with a level 20 and only be able to play in PvP matches against other players.

IMO, A RP character is better to start with becuase you get to see how skills work and get down the mechanics of the game. Also once you get your character to level 20 you can play your character in all the PvP areas. Accually you can do this at lower levels as well if your want. I am not big on PvP so, I really don't know where to do lower level PvP'ing. I think it was all moved to the battle isles but, hopefully someone else who does it more then I can tell you that.

Hope this helps,

Krat

As a continuation to Kratimas response, as you go through the game with an RP character, you'll find items, learn skills, etc. Each time you find or learn something new, it'll be unlocked for your account. If / when you create a PvP character all these things you've unlocked are available for your to choose from and use on the PvP character.

Additionally, a pvp character cannot leave pvp areas, the rp character can do anything.

dont forget that to PVP you will need to unlock skills to use.

to unlock skills you can go through story line, or will need to earn Factions (point system) through PVP itself, so i recomend you go through story line first. heck, you will enjoy the game more
